José Carpena

José Carpena was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. He published his first poems in the literary magazine Tinta Nueva, published by the Literary Circle, University of Puerto Rico, Year 5. José is a Communications Engineer, Veteran, Entrepreneur, and Writer. He graduated from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, School of Electrical Engineering, before moving to Washington, D.C.
